Loose White Tea

Loose White Tea
Loose White teas are preferred among tea drinkers because they usually stay fresh longer and come in whole leaves and buds, the way they were meant to be. In addition, tealeaves need space to expand, something they cannot do inside of a tea bag.

The downside to loose White teas is the brewing process. Loose teas require careful preparation to make the perfect brew.

When brewing white tea it is best to use fresh bottled water. A strainer or infuser basket should be used with loose White teas and use a beverage thermometer to be sure you brewing at the proper temperature. In the case of White teas, the water temperature should fall somewhere between 160 and 180 degrees.
