How is White Tea Different from Green Tea?
The major difference between White tea and other types of tea comes from which part of the plant is used in production. Most white teas come from the leaves and the buds of the Camellia sinensis plant at the branch tips, while other teas come from the upper leaves of the plant. In addition, the buds and leaves used in the production of White teas are picked during a small window, once a year in the spring.
All teas are processed differently, which again, separates them from each other. White Tea is processed least of all, lightly steamed or dried, giving it delicate, natural taste and maintaining more of the healthy properties found in all teas.
